It will help LDS member-missionaries understand the barriers Jews face about Jesus the Christ being the Messiah, etc. This is better understood by seeing through the window I open for the audience to witness my own conversion story than by preaching.

It will awaken people to differences and similarities between Jews and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: beliefs, scripture fragments, ordinances, covenants, terminologies.

Armed with some respectful understanding, members will have more confidence at building bridges and making friendships where they can share the excitement of the Restoration of ancient covenants, prophets and other meaningful similarities between ancient and latter-day Gospel.

The fireside will inspire the audience and entertain them. They will them feel a deepened love and devotion to our Savior and an appreciation of His atonement and the Restoration.
